A Poundette is an enemy that appears in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Poundettes are hammer-like enemies that work for the Smithy Gang in The Factory, and they are also assistants for the Director. Poundettes are a stronger variant of Pounders, which they resemble, albeit with a pink body.

Battle

Like with Pounders, Poundettes mainly attack by pounding themselves at one of Mario's party. They are also able to toss hammers and one attack may even inflict the Fear status on one of Mario's party members.

Strategy

Poundettes are weak to thunder attacks as well meaning Mallow's thunder techniques are effective against them.
