The Potted Ghosts are ghost-like creatures in Yoshi's Island DS.
In Yoshi's Island DS[]
Potted Ghosts are first seen in Bessie Bass's Battleship and from here, go onto appear in Spear Guys' Village Found!, Superhard Acrobatics, Welcome to Yoshi Tower!, and A Light in the Dark.
Their vases appear to be perfectly still upon first glance but as Yoshi gets close, the Potted Ghost will reveal itself and start shaking before ducking back into the vase, when the Potted Ghost emerges from the vase, the vase also becomes a hazard. Yoshi can tip their pots upside-down by shooting them with his eggs. Then Yoshi can get on their pots.
While the Potted Ghost is upside down, it can lift its head up, pushing the vase upwards. This helps Yoshi reach higher ledges. The Potted Ghost can slowly move left or right a few inches.

- The Potted Ghosts appear to've been inspired by Roger the Potted Ghost from Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3.
- Despite technically being ghosts, Potted Ghosts are often seen in areas that aren't dark or spooky-themed.
