Polterpups are dog ghosts from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
History & Personality
In the game if Luigi finds a Golden Bone then faints, a Polterpup will come take the bone and lick Luigi causing him to wake up. Several other Polterpups appear in the game and take many items and keys Luigi needs which requires him to chase the Polterpup to get it back. Although they may be considered enemies in the game, they don't really stand out as a huge problem, only as a very small problem. The Polterpup can give Luigi trouble when taking things, but that's only because the Dark Moon was shattered. Generally, these little guys are energetic and love to play a lot. Luigi actually takes a Polterpup in his home as his own pet in the end of the game.
