Pokipedes are an enemy in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Physical description[]

Pokipedes are Wiggler-like caterpillars with anywhere between three to seven segments. A spiked helmet covers all but their last segment. Some Pokipedes sport a green spiked helmet, while others have a red one, and the former type wears blue boxing gloves, while the latter wears red boxing gloves.

Behavior[]

Pokipedes move along rails and punch everything in front of them, as well as destroy snow blocks in their path. Red Pokipedes move faster and can destroy Hard Blocks as well.

In Super Mario Bros. Wonder[]

Pokipedes the main and titular feature of Pokipede Pass. A playable character can defeat a Pokipede by either stomping on their single uncovered segment, hitting the segment with three fireballs, or by attacking them with Elephant Mario's trunk.
