Poké Ball is an item in the Pokémon franchise. Its only connection to the Mario franchise is its appearance in every installment of the crossover Super Smash Bros. series.
Poké Balls are used to store a Pokémon, although each Poké Ball is only capable of storing one at a time. Various types of Pokémon can appear from Poké Balls, including Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Pichu, Mewtwo, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, Lucario, Greninja, and Incineroar.
