Plumpbelly Village is a location mentioned by Luigi in the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

History[]

Luigi visited Plumpbelly Village during his quest for the Marvelous Compass. As Luigi entered Plumpbelly Village, he learned from the mayor that the village is being terrorized by a large snake creature named Hizza. Hizza demanded the small town to offer up women regularly and wanted the mayor's daughter next. Luigi decided to go in her place while in a dress and Jerry, despite not enjoying seeing Luigi in a dress, decides to tag along. Eventually, Luigi manages to trick Hizza into eating itself and saves Plumpbelly Village. The mayor offers Luigi his daughter's hand in marriage and Luigi decides against it. He leaves Plumpbelly Village deciding that Princess Eclair will be his future wife.
