Platform Peril is a 4-player mini-game which first appears in Mario Party and returns in Mario Party 2 and Super Mario Party Jamboree.
Gameplay[]
For both games, the players must run and jump across platforms until they reach the end. However, the Platform Peril in Mario Party 2 is much more complex as some platforms are longer and shorter than others while the one in Mario Party has all of the paths the same length, but brick-like obstacles in certain spots. The player that reaches the end first wins.
Ending[]
In the N64 versions, the player reaching the end first does her or his winning pose. In the Switch versions, players do their losing or winning animations depending on if they got coins.
