Plant Chompers are a plant with tree-like roots, sharp teeth, and a large head with a few spikes on it

Behavior

Like Munchers from the Super Mario series, Plant Chompers are immobile creatures which continuously chomp their jaws while appearing to have their roots attached to the ground.

In Virtual Boy Wario Land

Plant Chompers are encountered in Stage 7, most frequently in large areas that Wario can only safely traverse by riding a Torny. If Wario touches a Plant Chomper, he takes damage Plant Chompers are found along the bottom of quicksand areas, where they harm Wario if he sinks too low in the quicksand. The Plant Chompers' shadows in the quicksand also appear inside the guard's room in Stage 8.

Unlike many other enemies, Plant Chompers cannot be touched by the flames of Sea Dragon and King Dragon Wario, as the flames only go behind the Plant Chompers. Plant Chompers cannot be defeated.
