Pit Boss is a Bowser minigame in Mario Party 6 and Mario Party Superstars.

Layout[]

The minigame takes place in a circular pit.

Gameplay[]

Players have to avoid a large Spiked Ball thrown into the pit by Bowser. If a player hit hit, they are eliminated and land into a cage. When the Spiked Ball loses speed, Bowser angrily throws two more of them into the pit, which hit the first one and cause it to start rolling again. Whoever survives until all the Spiked Balls stop moving is the winner. If all remaining players are knocked out (Mario Party 6), or if everyone is eliminated by having a spiked sphere simultaneously knock against them (Mario Party Superstars), the minigame ends in a tie.

In Mario Party Superstars, during Free Play, this minigame is treated as a 4-Player minigame, so it ends immediately when there is one player left standing.
