Template:Enemy The Pirate Gooms were small round enemies that appeared in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 and Wario Land II. They were the most common members of the Brown Sugar Pirates, and the later Black Sugar gang in the II, where they served their leader, Captain Syrup.

The Wanderin Gooms were weaponless versions of them.

Tactics

They cannot be punched behind them due to their forward facing spears. They can be punched behind them. They can also be jumped on, rendering them upside down and vulnerable, which enables them to be picked up and thrown by Wario.

Wario Land II

Some time after the first wario land game, the pirates, now reformed as the Black Sugar Gang, secretly raided Wario's castle, as seen in the the game's introduction scene.
