Phony Swing

Phony Swing is Wario's Star Swing in Mario Super Sluggers. It replaces the Phony Ball from Mario Superstar Baseball, which he instead only uses while pitching.

Description[]

Upon initiating Phony Swing, Wario pulls out a large Bob-omb and hits it. The ball pops up before slowly making its way back down. When the ball hits the ground, the Bob-omb explodes. Even if a fielder gets hit by the Bob-omb, it is still possible for another one to catch the ball before it hits the ground. It is also possible for the fielder to catch the ball by jumping and catching the Bob-omb itself.
