Petal Meadows is a small area, east of Rogueport, which leads to Petalburg and Hooktail Castle. It is featured in the game, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

History

Mario first reaches this area by going through a certain Warp Pipe found near the beginning area of Rogueport Sewers after defeating the Blooper. The enemies found here include Goombas (as well as Goomba sub-species) and Koopa Troopas. When Mario first enters the area, he first sees Hooktail, flying to his castle here. Another not of interest here, is that this is the only place where a Horsetail can be. It is found using the Candy Canes like in Paper Mario, but hitting with Mario's Hammer 10 times instead of running around and you get a Horsetail instead of hearts. When leaving Petalburg, Koops musters up some strength and joins Mario's crew.
