Pesce (ファットマウス atto Mausu?, Fat Mouse) is the ninth boss fought by Wario in Wario Land 3. It is a green mouse-fish hybrid species, as official sources describe it, although Pesce most closely resembles a piranha fish. Pesce is encountered in the Bank of the Wild River.

In Wario Land 3[]
Encountered at the Bank of the Wild River, Wario can ride on the dragonfly to stall above water while the player controls Wario to step on the cheese from the bug to feed Pesce. However, dropping the cheese must be timed for Pesce to eat the cheese. After Pesce eats two cheese, Pesce will sink to the bottom of the water current and plug it. Afterwards, a dragonfly will help Wario progress his path.
Etymology[]
Its name is the Italian word for "fish."

- Unlike all bosses in Wario Land 3, Pesce does not die after defeat.
