Pendril is an enemy in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Pendrils appear in Plack Beach, where they can only be fought by Mario and Luigi.
Physical description[]
They are blue penguins with drills replacing their beaks.
Battle[]
They battle Mario and Luigi by popping out of the ground before nose-diving into one of them. Occasionally, when they re-surface, a rock becomes stuck on their nose. If either Mario or Luigi attack them with the rock stuck to them, the rock shatters and a Bob-omb runs at the one who attacked. Eventually the Pendril re-enters the underground without the rock.

- Pendril's name is a portmanteau of "penguin" and "drill".
- If the player hacks the game with Bowser battling one, when it attacks, as the Pendril ends the attack, the game will freeze, forcing the player to reset.
