- Not to be confused with Peach Gardens, a race course introduced in Mario Kart DS.
Peach Garden is a baseball stadium owned by Princess Peach in Mario Superstar Baseball. It takes place in front of Princess Peach's Castle. It is also where the minigame Wall Ball takes place. The music that plays at Peach Garden is an orchestral rendition of the overworld theme in Super Mario Bros.. In Challenge Mode, the Peach Monarchs are always competed against in Peach Garden.
In Mario Super Sluggers, Peach instead has Peach Ice Garden as her home stadium.
Features[]
The main gimmick of Peach Garden is the Jump Blocks and invisible blocks in the air. If the batter hits the baseball to the side of a Jump Block, it bounces back a distance, but if the baseball lands on top of the Jump Block, it bounces farther forward, with a good chance of scoring a homerun. An invisible block is only revealed when the baseball hits it, and it is disadvantageous for the batter because this results in the baseball falling directly below, not only preventing it from flying farther into the field but also giving the fielders a better chance of catching the baseball.
The stadium also has hedges that the baseball has a possibility of landing within or rolling into, potentially causing the fielders to take longer at finding the baseball.
