Peach Dome is a tennis court owned by Princess Peach in the Mario Tennis series. It first appears in Mario Power Tennis, and would reappear in Mario Tennis: Power Tour. The minigame Artist on the Court takes place on Peach Dome.

Description[]

Peach Dome has little difference from real-world tennis stadiums, especially from lacking any gimmicks or hazards. The stadium has numerous seats where all the spectators sit, with audience members including Toads, Nokis, and Piantas. There is a jumbotron held up by both red and dark purple girders, and it has the Peach Dome logo and four large, yellow speakers sticking out from the side.

In Mario Power Tennis, Peach Dome consists of three courts:

  • Hard Court: The court consists of a blue floor. Its Ball Speed is set to Normal while its Bounce is set to Strong.
  • Clay Court: The court consists of a floor with the color of light soil. Its Ball Speed is set to Slow while its Bounce is set to Weak.
  • Grass Court: The court is light green and covered in mowed grass. The Ball Speed is set to Fast and, like the Clay Court, has a Bounce set to Weak.

In Mario Tennis: Power Tour, Peach Dome does return as a playable area, being the only court to return from Mario Power Tennis. It is also featured in the game's start-up sequence. Peach Dome does not consist of three courts like it once had, as they were all made into separate courts. While Peach Dome still has a ground covered in mowed grass, the playing area in the center is colored magenta and depicts a large heart with diamond-shaped sparkles below it.
