Pat the Bats are a type of enemy encountered in Hotel Mario. They are first encountered in Ludwig's Thump Castle Hotel, and are similar to Swoopers in that they attack by swooping down at Mario. Pat the Bat can open a door upon coming into contact with it. A Pat the Bat can be defeated by either jumping on it or shooting a fireball at it.
