Para-Goombas are a variant of Flying Goombas which make their first and main appearance in Mario Clash. Para-Goombas have a thorn on their head that protects them from jump attacks. To defeat a Para-Goomba, Mario has to throw a Turtle Shell at it, causing the Para-Goomba to become stunned, and then hit the Para-Goomba again to defeat it.
In the WarioWare series, a Para-Goomba appears in level 3 of the Mario Clash microgame, as the enemy that Mario has to defeat by throwing a Turtle Shell at it. In WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, the Para-Goomba only has to be hit once, but in WarioWare Gold, it has to be hit twice, like in Mario Clash.
