Pak E. Derms are an elephant enemy featured in Yoshi's Story. Aside from this, they have also made a few cameos in the Super Smash Bros. series.
In Yoshi's Story[]
Pak E. Derms only appear in the first level, Treasure Hunt. Here, they carry a large stop sign in their trunk to try and stop Yoshi from getting past them. Pak E. Derms do not utilize any attack, making them more of an obstacle. To bypass a Pak E. Derm, Yoshi must Ground Pound right next to it, causing the Pak E. Derm to fall over very briefly.
