Pagoda Peak is a playable board featured in Mario Party 7 and the second overall board.
In Mario Party 7[]
In single player, the player must scale to the top of the mountain and purchase a star from Toadsworth for a variable price (10, 20, 30, or 40 coins). Then Koopa Master --an old Koopa Troopa-- gives the player (who reaches his house) a star. The price depends on the events that occurred below the peak and how many characters have purchased stars. Each time a character gets a star, the price goes up by ten. Note that the price of the star never goes over 40 coins. After the 4th star --which is 40 coins-- the star moves back to the first price (which is at the top of Koopa Master's house), restarts back to 10 coins, and the cycle repeats.
Every five turns, Bowser has a chance of knocking the players down a row or so off of the mountain.
Solo Cruise[]
In Solo Cruise, the star is 100 coins. The player or the opponent must acquire one star (and it --the star-- is 100 coins). So they must collect 100 coins and reach Koopa Master first to get the star from him. If either the player or the opponent gets to Koopa Master first (with 100 coins for the star), they get the star and win.
If the player makes it to Koopa Master with less than 100 coins, he --Koopa Master-- lets them (if they can't pay for the star) roll a coin block. Then he (Koopa Master) sends the player back to the start.
