History[]

Past[]

Many years ago, Shroob Planet was on verge to die from withering. The Shroobs leave their home planet as they travel out in space looking for a new home. Fortunately the alien conflict came to an end when Baby Mario, Baby Luigi and their two future heroes defeated the Shroobs.

Super Paper Mario[]

Outer Space

Mario flying in space, from Super Paper Mario.

In Super Paper Mario Chapter 4-1: Into Outer Space, Mario, Tippi, Princess Peach, and Bowser all set out for the next Pure Heart but are suddenly dumped into space. Knowing they need oxygen, Tippi warps everyone back to the Flipside. After getting a Helmet, Mario and company head back into space where they eventually find a spaceship with a young alien named Squirps. Squirps knows of the Pure Heart and agrees to take them there (though not fully knowing how to get there). After exploring through space around a bit, the heroes decide to take a quick stop on Planet Bolube.

Trivia[]

  • Oddly, Mario and the others need a helmet to get into space where in Paper Mario and in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, they didn't need one when they went into space. However, it was assumed that the Star Rod may have something to do with it in Paper Mario and in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it was stated that the Crystal Stars were protecting Mario and the others.
