Snifit appeared in Paper Mario: The Origami King, where red, blue, green, pink, and yellow Snifits can be found in Shroom City.

Additionally, origami Snifits appear in the game as enemies. A Paper Macho Snifit wearing a cowboy hat also appears as part of the Big Sho' Theater, which Mario must defeat in a Western-style duel.
One red Snifit runs a stall with a giant lamp on the top where for 100 Coins, the game is to guess the Snifit's facial expression, and three chances are given. If Mario fails all three chances, the Snifit mentions that anyone who fails the game will lose their freedom for all of eternity, but can try again for 1,000 Coins. If Mario refuses to pay three times, he will be trapped in the giant lamp which results in an instant Game Over. If Mario wins the game, the Snifit will run off and reveal a Magic Circle (which utilizes the 1,000-Fold Arms to rub the lamp and free Luigi who was trapped inside), and despite claiming the reward for winning the game is 10,000 coins, no coins are given at all.
