"Opera" is the fifty-ninth live-action segment of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. It is paired with the animated episode "Flatbush Koopa."
Plot[]
Mario and Luigi are peacefully sleeping when suddenly an annoying high-pitched voice comes in through the garbage chute. Mario and Luigi are instantly awakened by the noise and recognize it as the voice of Mrs. Gammliss. They make a lot of unflattering comments about her singing capability but feel they can only hope it'll stop.
Luigi continues his work on unclogging a toilet while wearing earmuffs to counter the bad singing. Unfortunately, Mrs. Gammliss continues her singing upsetting both the Marios and the Ratagator. Mario finally calls to her to quiet down but she still sings.
Mario finally gets the idea to sing his grievance out. While Mrs. Gammliss still refuses, the Marios both sing and things start breaking in Mrs. Gammliss' apartment. She pleads with them to stop and they agree to only if she'll stop too.

- This is the only episode where the guest star is never seen at all, not including the guest stars who only appear in a costume.
