"On Her Majesty's Sewer Service" is the twenty-second animated episode of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. It is paired with the live-action segment is "9001: A Mario Odyssey."

Plot[]

Mario, Luigi, and Princess Toadstool arrive in Spyland, where Secret Agent James Blond has caught on to King Koopa's newest plan. However, Koopfinger (as he calls himself in this episode) uses a ring to turn James Blonde into stone. Later, the trio is having lunch in a restaurant. While Mario thanks the Princess for treating them to lunch she reveals that she didn't meet them for lunch but to ask for their help in stopping Koopfinger. She then takes them to a secret facility where they meet with Agent N. Agent N gives them plumber specific spy gear such as a phone wrench, a laser drill, and a drain cleaner bomb. They also get a spy car that resembles an old plumbers' truck.

Meanwhile, Koopfinger and his henchmen raid Fort Hard Knocks: the storage area for all of Spyland's coins. They easily manage to pillage a large sum of coins and start to make their getaway. However, the Marios catch up to them in their spy vehicle and give chase. Koopfinger attempts to ward them off with a Snifit and an Albatoss, but both creatures are defeated by the Marios' spy car. However, a winged Birdo is called and manages to capture the Marios, spy vehicle and all.

Koopfinger takes the Marios to his secret hideout where he intends to get rid of the Marios. In order to decide their fate, Koopa plays the "Wheel of Misfortune. They "win" a trip to the Tunnel of Doom where they are confronted by various enemies such as a Goomba, Piranha Plants and a Spark. Using a grapple gun, they manage to escape.

Back on the surface, Koopfinger grows upset over the amount of money he's stolen and wants to go on another caper but the Marios surprise him. During a fight where even Vampa White (the woman who spun the Wheel of Misfortune) participates, the Marios manage to fight off Koopfinger's henchmen. The Wheel of Misfortune is spun again with the fate of "Koopa Kaput" but he still manages to escape into a Warp Zone.

With Koopfinger defeated and James Blonde back to normal, the Marios receive commendations for their efforts. Mario smells food and decides to have lunch, only to find out the food was actually exploding spaghetti.
