Ol' Grandsappy is a character who is first seen in Paper Mario: The Origami King. He lives in the Whispering Woods.

Physical description[]
In his first form, Ol' Grandsappy resembles just a brown tree stump. His second form, Sweet Sap Loggins, portrays him as a light brown tree with green leaves and black eyes with a pointy nose slightly below his eyes.
Biography[]
Ol' Grandsappy was once a normal tree, but he grew sick when some Mushroom Retainers chopped down his trunk and harvested his wood, which the Sap Sisters explain when Paper Mario and Olivia stumble upon him. They find the Soul Seed and drop it into a rejuvenating pond to restore his energy, but find him eaten by Paper Macho Goombas. They use confetti to fix his body and restore him to his former glory with the seed as he sings Happy and Sappy.
