"Are we strange?"
― Oho Jee

Oho Jees are characters and enemies that appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. They live peacefully on Oho Oasis near the Fire and Thunder temples. The Oho Jees often use incorrect grammar and say very bizarre and mysterious things when spoken to.

Appearance

Normal Oho Jees can come in red or blue. Two unique Oho Jees, who are colored green and purple and have afros, are found on each of the two Surfing Spot islands.

Battle

Oho Jees become enemies if Mario or Luigi use either the Firebrand on a red Jee or Thunderhand on a blue Jee. In battle, Oho Jees mainly attack by spinning multiple times at Mario or Luigi. The Red Oho Jee attacks with a circular pattern at Mario and Luigi. Blue Oho Jees move around in a diamond shape.

The Oho Jees are sometimes very stupid in battle. They may run away and (if the running fails) come back saying "I no believe!" (a reference to their species' name) or hum a song, which slightly heals the brothers. Also, if they are healed too much, they will blow up and the battle will end. After defeat they will lay on the ground seemingly dead only to jump back up and say they were just kidding and that they're fine.

Strategy

Red Oho Jees are weak to Luigi's Thunderhand, and vice versa for blue ones.
