Octopuses (also called Aliens) are a type Octoomba that appeared as an enemy in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Octopuses appeared in Space Junk Galaxy during the Kamella's Airship Attack mission. They reappeared in Bowser Jr.'s Lava Reactor.
