Norman is a one-time character featured in the The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 episode "Mush-Rumors." He is the father of Bud and Missy, who are his son and daughter respectively, and the husband of their mother. All of them are from the in-universe real-world location of Wichita, Kansas, but during a road trip to Wild Waldo's One-of-a-Kind Amusement Park, Norman accidentally drives through a Warp Zone, taking them to the Mushroom World.
