Nintendogs (also simply referred to as Dogs) are a species of dogs starring in the Nintendogs series of games introduced for the Nintendo DS. Their first appearance in a Mario-related game is WarioWare: Smooth Moves.

A Nintendog wearing a fedora, specifically a Shiba Inu, appears in the Metro, Seaside, Moon, and Sand Kingdoms. If Mario play fetch with his cap enough, the Nintendog digs up a Power Moon. The Nintendog can also appear in the Odyssey once 250 Power Moons have been collected.
