Wario NMI Safety Video

A screenshot from the Nintendo NMI Safety Video 2004

The Nintendo NMI Safety Video 2004 was an internal safety training video used for employees of Nintendo of America's marketing & merchandising branch. It is roughly 12 minutes in length, and was recorded some time between 2003 (suggested from releases such as WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! being displayed on store shelves) and 2004, which is the year listed on the DVD-R on which the video is stored.

Description[]

Though the training video is not centered around Mario, it features Wario conversing with the narrator several times. Wario is voiced an unknown voice actor other than Charles Martinet. Wario's head in the video is reused from one of his artworks for Wario World, the latest Wario game at its time of release.

As the person is giving safety instructions, Wario initially dismisses them, so he is corrected by the narrator. As the video goes on, Wario later starts providing safety instructions with the narrator himself. In the ending, Wario complains that his personal safety is compromised by enemies in Wario World.
