Template:Battle Course 'Nintendo DS (Battle Stage) is a Battle Stage in Mario Kart DS. It is similar to Mario Kart: Double Dash!!s Nintendo GameCube Battle Stage. The course takes place on a Nintendo DS, with the player being able to explore the whole DS; he/she can go on the top and bottom screens. Much like the Nintendo GameCube Battle Stage, this stage takes place in an Outer Space-like starry region.
The missions 1-5 and 7-6 take place in this area. First has Toad as the playable character in the game where he has to drive through six numbered gates in order within thirty seconds, while Mario has to do so with eight numbered gates in eleven seconds in the second mission.
