Naval Piranha (ビッグパックン Biggu Pakkun?, Big Pakkun) is an enlarged Piranha Plant and a recurring boss in the Yoshi platforming games. It first appears in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.

Boss fight against Naval Piranha in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Naval Piranha is the boss of World 3, where it both lives and is encountered in its own castle level, Naval Piranha's Castle.
After Kamek enlarges Naval Piranha, it begins to fight Blue Yoshi by spitting out Nipper Plants, which can damage Blue Yoshi by touching him. It can also attack by charging Yoshi and by using its spiky tentacles, each having a Naval Bud at the end. To defeat Naval Piranha, Blue Yoshi has to throw three Yoshi Eggs at its belly button. After three hits, Naval Piranha shrinks and disintegrates in defeat.
There is a method to skip battling Naval Piranha altogether; just outside of its room, if Blue Yoshi properly aims and throws an egg at the Naval Piranha's bud offscreen, Kamek is hearing yelling, "OH MY!!!" and the battle ends.
Yoshi's Island DS[]
Naval Piranha briefly appears during the introduction alongside the other castle bosses of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island as the game's events are recapped.
Tetris Attack[]
Naval Piranha is fought as the ninth boss of VS. Mode in the Game Boy version and as the tenth boss in the Super Nintendo Entertainment System version.
Yoshi's Woolly World/Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World[]
Naval Piranha is the boss of World 4. It is first fought in Naval Piranha's Sewer (4-8), then later again in Naval Piranha 2: Now It's Personal! (4-S).

Naval Piranha appears in the Bowser Lab, during the Bowserstein! quest. Naval Piranha is unveiled by Bowser if the player selects to see the "scary monster" that Bowser made. Afterward, Bowser has the player face it in the minigame Koopa Kurl, and the reward for winning is unlocking the minigame itself.
In the epilogue, Naval Piranha is said to now live and thrive within the desert.
