Nasty Nets are a type of net that can be launched from the Doom Sub. The main purpose of a Nasty Net is to catch and hold enemy targets. Upon hitting its target, a Nasty Net wraps itself around it entirely.
A Nasty Net is fairly durable and does not conduct electricity, revealed when Mario and Luigi managed to collect a school of Jelectros in one without getting shocked. Nasty Nets are tough, so many cannot destroy it, although a Chain Chomp can chew through a Nasty Net in one bite.
