Mystifying Mirror is a microgame featured in the Wario Bug's Anything Goes stage in WarioWare: Get It Together!.

Layout[]

The microgame takes place in a room of a castle with gray stone walls and a torch on the left and right side of each opening. To the very right is a locked wooden door secured by a yellow lock. During the microgame, a yellow-framed mirror reflecting the room from an upside-down perspective is shown, and the microgame pans to the mirror when it begins. Wario statues sometimes also appear, including his appearance from Muscle Out.

Gameplay[]

The player's character has to move their mirror image to obtain a key resembling Wario's nose, then they must use it to unlock the door and escape. The door or key is sometimes on a higher platform. By having their character unlock the door, the player wins at the microgame. For characters with free movement, their up and down controls are reversed on the mirror.

Kat & Ana are on the highest tier of suitability due to their constant jumping, allowing them to easily reach the key. 9-Volt and Master Mantis are on the second highest tier of suitability. For 9-Volt, this is because his only vertical movements involve the use of grapple rings, so his controls are not reversed. For Master Mantis, his benefit for getting to the key is being able to walk onto the ceiling. Penny is listed as the least suitable, as the Jet Tank One makes it so that her movements are already inverted, conflicting with the effect of the mirror.

In two-player mode, there are two keys, and winning the microgame only requires one of the characters to escape. Whichever player manages to have their character escape receives an effort point.

Difficulty levels[]

  • Level 1: There are no obstacles between the character and the door.
  • Level 2: A few obstacles are between the character, the key, and the door.
  • Level 3: Several obstacles are present, and some of the sides of the door are blocked by obstacles.

Mission[]

  • All About the Angles: The player must play as Pyoro and get a score of at least 21 points.
