Morty Moles are large variations of Monty Moles that are found in Super Mario 3D Land. They walk slowly through tunnels and are slightly more durable.

Morty Moles have a similar appearance to regular Monty Moles, being larger than them and having a dark red color.
History[]
Super Mario 3D Land[]
First appearing in 5-4, Morty Moles commonly appear alongside Monty Moles. When attacked they will reduce in size and become faster. It takes two hits to defeat them. The use of the Super Leaf, Invincibility Leaf, Statue Leaf, or a Starman can instantly defeat a Morty Mole, aditionally, 3 fireballs or boomerangs can also be used. They appear in World 5-4 and World 7-4.
Trivia[]
- Morty Moles behave similar to Rexes, in the sense that they also require two hits and shrink and speed up when stomped on.
