Missing Remote is a microgame featured in Mona's That's Life stage in WarioWare: Get It Together!.

Gameplay[]

The objective is to navigate through a maze and collect the remote while avoiding thumbtacks attached to the walls and ceiling. It is also possible to collect the remote using indirect attacks. By fulfilling the objective, the player wins the microgame, and the television in the background turns on to either a soap opera, a news report, or a weather report. If the player's character hits a thumbtack or does not collect the remote on time, they lose at the microgame.

In two-player mode, a different set of mazes is used for each level. Whoever gets the remote gains an effort point, or a star in Rising Star mode. Even if one of the characters hits a thumbtack, the other one can still proceed collect the remote.

Both Mona and 5-Volt are listed as the two characters most suited for the microgame. Mona can directly retrieve the remote by using her boomerang, which is not by the thumbtacks. 5-Volt can directly teleport to the remote. 18-Volt, 9-Volt, and Pyoro are on the second tier of characters listed as most suited for the microgame, and if either of them are played as, grapple rings are added so that they can move directly to the remote, or near it in Level 3. Kat & Ana are listed as the least suitable, as their constant jumping may cause them to jump into the thumbtacks.

Difficulty levels[]

  • Level 1: The player's character has to navigate through a maze with a few thumbtacks and wide paths.
  • Level 2: The player's character has to navigate through a maze with more thumbtacks and narrower paths.
  • Level 3: The player's character has to navigate through a maze consisting several thumbtacks and very narrow paths.
