Miss Warps are a species of allies who assist the Yoshis during their journey in Yoshi's Story.

Physical description[]
Miss Warps are egg-shaped creatures with a number painted on their belly, either 1 through 4. The color of a Miss Warp's body differs depending on which number is on its belly; Miss Warps with a 1 are pink; those with a 2 are cyan; those with a 3 are yellow, and lastly Miss Warps with a 4 are light green.
Behavior[]
Miss Warps are lazy, as they are always found sleeping at first, but a Yoshi can wake up the Miss Warp by jumping onto it. In doing so, a Miss Warp jumps up and down and shouts.

Each level features four Miss Warps, numbered 1 through 4 respectively, with the number depending on their distance from the start of the level. When at least two Miss Warps are awoken, a Yoshi can jump onto a Miss Warp to be thrown to the next available one in sequence. Miss Warps also act as checkpoints, so if a Yoshi loses all its health and gets kidnapped by Baby Bowser's Toadies, the next Yoshi continues the level starting from the highest numbered Miss Warp that they have reached.
