Mirror Ghosts are an enemy in Luigi's Mansion and its Nintendo 3DS version.
Profile[]
Physical description[]
Mirror Ghosts are an invisible variant of Grabbing Ghosts, although a Mirror Ghost becomes visible while it is stunned by a flashlight. Mirror Ghosts have the same body as a Grabbing Ghost, with the only difference being that Mirror Ghosts are colored light blue.
Behavior[]
Mirror Ghosts act identically to Grabbing Ghosts in that it tries to sneak behind Luigi and grab him, throttling Luigi's movement. Like with Red Grabbing Ghosts and Cinema Ghosts, a Mirror Ghost damages Luigi while it chokes him, but regular Grabbing Ghosts cannot damage Luigi.
In Luigi's Mansion[]
Mirror Ghosts are only encountered in the Mirror Room, where there are six of them, each having 20 HP. Even while Mirror Ghosts are invisible, their body remains visible on the mirror. When Luigi stuns a Mirror Ghost using his flashlight, he can start vacuuming it into his Poltergust 3000.
Mirror Ghosts are similar to Cinema Ghosts, which are only visible by their silhouette the projector screen in the Projection Room unless Luigi stuns it using his flashlight. Mirror Ghosts and Cinema Ghosts both leave behind a dust cloud upon materializing.
In the PAL releases' and Nintendo 3DS version's Hidden Mansion, Mirror Ghosts also appear in the Wardrobe Room.
