Minigame Space

A Minigame Space, also spelled Mini-game Space, is a recurring type of space in the Mario Party series. It first appears in Mario Party.

Landing on a Minigame Space causes a single-player mini-game to occur, so only one character has a chance to earn extra coins.

Minigame Spaces only appear Duel Mode boards. Landing on one will start a Duel Minigame where one of the two players has a chance to earn ten coins to help keep their partners. Since Duel Mode does not have minigames at the end of turns, landing on a Minigame Space is one of two ways to play a minigame, the other being going past Belltop five times.
