Mini Boos, also named Little Boos, are a small variation of Boos which first appear in Yoshi's Story.

In Yoshi's Story[]

Little Boos, as they are named for the game, are enemies encountered in Ghost Castle. They can be found in groups. If a Yoshi throws an egg at one of them, the Little Boos stop moving and swoop at Yoshi. It is impossible to defeat Little Boos entirely, as more just appear from off-screen. If Yoshi eats a Heart Fruit and does a Ground Pound near Little Boos, they turn into Lucky Fruit, much like Shy Guys do.

In Mario Power Tennis[]

Boo's Offensive Power Shot, Boo Blast, has him summon several Little Boos to form into a large tennis racket, hitting the ball with it, then allowing them to cloak the ball, although it is still possible for the receiver to return the ball.

In Super Mario Galaxy[]

Transparent Little Boos can be found at Ghostly Galaxy, on the Boo Race Goal Planet during the mission A Very Spooky Sprint. They are not enemies, and only come a short distance from the planet's surface before disappearing.

In Mario Super Sluggers[]

Mini Boos are featured as an item. Using a Mini Boo makes the ball invisible for about six seconds. The ball is still tangible and can be caught. In Challenge mode, Mini Boos are found in the map for Wario City, and are required for King Boo to join the player's team.
