Mini-Ravens (also spelt as Mini Ravens) are smaller versions of Ravens found in games of the Yoshi series. Debuting in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and later appearing in Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, they are rare enemies only found in a few levels such as Shifting Platforms Ahead, Raphael the Raven's Castle, and Beware the Spinning Logs, they walk along platforms at a quick speed and can also walk along the walls and up ceilings too like their large cousins. Running into a Mini-Raven will cause damage however, they can be easily defeated by jumping on them, swallowing them, or by tossing an egg at them. Unlike most enemies, swallowing a Mini-Raven will not produce an egg.
Mini-Ravens return in Yoshi's New Island behaving as they did previously however this time, Yoshi can produce an egg by swallowing a Mini-Raven, the ways to defeat a Mini-Raven are the same as before and they are only found in one level, Eggstraordinary Terrain.

- Mini-Ravens may be baby versions of Ravens.
- Mini-Ravens don't appear in Super Princess Peach, however, the regular Ravens are about the same size as a Mini-Raven but are considered regular Ravens by the game.
