A Microbomb is an enemy which appears in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They are small Bob-omb variants which appear in the Punchinello fight in the Coal Mines. There is a specific Microbomb named Bambino Bomb that is automatically obtained after defeating Croco.

Battle

Microbombs are only seen when they are summoned into battle by Punchinello. The Microbombs are the first bombs to be summoned in the battle and only attack by exploding at one of Mario's party.

Strategy

Microbombs are weak against Jump and fire attacks meaning any of Mario's special moves will be effective against them. However, Microbombs don't pose much of a threat and, instead, all attention should be focused on Punchinello instead. After Punchinello takes enough damage, he will swap out the Microbombs for regular Bob-ombs.
