A Mic Space is a space featured exclusively in Mario Party 7. Landing on one brings forth Toadsworth, who then begins to host a specific 1-player minigame involving the use of the Nintendo GameCube Microphone. If no microphone is inserted into the GameCube, the Mic setting is turned off, or if the player has zero coins (despite the microphone being inserted into the Gamecube and/or the Mic setting being turned on), Toadsworth states that they cannot play the minigame. That is, which means that landing on the space results is nothing happening.
If the player wins the minigame, they can double the number of coins. But if they lose, they lose the entire bet. For example, if the player bets 57 coins, they can get 114 coins if they win. (That is, since 57 x 2 = 114.) But since the player can only own up to 999 coins, they can only bet up to 100 coins. (The maximum number of coins the player can win is 200.) If the player bets the real maximum number of coins (that being, 100), they get 200 coins. (That is, as 100 x 2 = 200.)
