Megahammer

Megahammer is one of Bowser Jr.'s robots. It is fought in the World 3 castle galaxy. Bowser Jr.'s pod grows a mask and attaches itself to a robot body.

This battle requires use of Yoshi. There are Yoshi eggs spawns around the ring.

How to Attack

There are two main attacks in the first phase, in the front and in the back. The front fires two Bullet Bills and then a Banzai Bill, which destroys the striped yellow/black flooring of the ring. The back fires six Bullet Bills and a shock wave, which must be jumped.

Defeating

To defeat this boss, Mario must climb on top of Yoshi and wait for the Bullet Bills. Yoshi must then eat one and fire it at the bright blue spots (two on the front, one on the back,) twice each. (The back can be reached by using the launch stars placed around the ring.)

Afterwards

Once that is done, Megahammer will start to use its hammers in the front to use shock waves. There is no other need to stay in the back because the front is where you can only damage Bowser Jr. Two Bullet Bills will be fired, but instead of a Banzai Bill, it will use its hammers to create two shockwaves from each hammer, which Mario and Yoshi should be between. Once these are jumped, Megahammer will crouch down enough for Yoshi to jump up and fire a Bullet Bill at him. Two hits are required to defeat this phase, and Megahammer, for good.

This boss after the explosion, will relinquish the Grand Star to the next World.
