Mega Goomba's Bad Dream is a Boss Battle minigame featured in Mario Party: Star Rush. It involves the characters having to fight Mega Goomba.
Gameplay[]
Your goal is to steal more Apples than your opponents and bring them back to the basket at the start. A character can only carry up to three apples at once, and the more Apples you are holding, the slower you move. A meter on the right keeps track of the total number of apples put into the basket, and a character earns a point for each apple they put into the basket. Every so often, regular Goombas will come to steal the Apples back from you, so they must be avoided. Touching one causes a character to lose a point.
Halfway through the minigame, which is when, 25 Apples have been stolen, Mega Goomba will wake up and become furious and attempt to attack the characters as they steal more apples. If he successfully hits you, you lose a point. The boss fight concludes once 50 apples have been put into the basket. Since the minigame is about putting apples into a basket, the character who performs the last action does not gain any additional points.
