Mario in Real Time (also known as MIRT) is a interactive device, used by Nintendo in different kinds of trade fairs. Minoru Arakawa made the device, and Charles Martinet takes the role of being Mario's voice actor as usual. MIRT shows Mario on a screen being voiced by Charles Martinet (previously Stevie Coyle). Martinet can also move Mario with sensors. Luigi can also be shown on or off screen. There are different types of MIRT, such as Wario in Real Time (WIRT), and Donkey Kong in Real Time (DKIRT). This device was also used for the Dark Moon launch event, where Luigi himself greets guests to the event.
