Layout

This section is where you can add {{Icons}} and {{Youmay}} before the infobox. {{Q}} can go after the infobox. You can add {{Infobox Item}} from the preload templates on Source Editor. After the infobox, you can summarise what the item is and its first appearance. The name of the item must be bold. If it is possible to add the Japanese name of the item, use {{Nihongo}}.
Description
Overall description about the item.
In <insert franchise, series, or game name here>
Add this heading if the item appeared in one game or the item appeared in a game part of the series. In the latter case, the subheading will have italics and a link to the game. (ex. === ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' ===) It is important to describe their role in each game. In some cases, if an item or object has made several appearances throughout at least two franchises (i.e. Mario, Yoshi, Wario, or Donkey Kong), the main heading can instead list a franchise name, therefore making the series name a subheading and the game name a tertiary heading. An example can be seen on the Donut Lift article.
Crossover appearances
Add this heading for any crossover appearances the item has made. The subheading will have italics and a link to the game (ex. === ''[[Tetris DS]]'' ===) or of the series and any games falling under it (ex. ==={{series|Super Smash Bros.}}=== followed by ====''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]''====). This heading does not apply to items or objects originating from other Nintendo or third-party media, e.g. Rings from Sonic the Hedgehog do not follow this structure.
In other media
If the item has appearances outside video games.
Statistics
Add some statistics to the page or {{Statistics Link}} to the article.
Flavor text
Flavor text, including profiles and bios, of an item, mostly from outside a game, such as a manual or website. Add some flavor text to the page or {{Flavor Text Link}} to the article.
Timeline
May be optional to add this heading unless the item made multiple video game appearances. Be sure to use {{Timeline}} when listing the appearances.
Nomenclature
Provide a list of the item's names in other languages. Be sure to use {{Nomenclature}}.
Behind the scenes
Creation and development
Describe the item's creation and development. If the item has a concept artwork, you may mention it.
Etymology
Write about the possible origin of the item's name. Mention how the name origin connects to the item. If the item's name does not have an origin, do not add this subheading.
Real-world influences
In pop culture
Describe how the item connects to modern society.
Reception
Describe different reviews on the item.
Trivia
Add facts that may not fit in either of the headings above, but appeal to the reader. They must be listed with asterisks.
Gallery
Add a gallery to the page or {{Gallery Link}} to the article.
References
If the articles have citations. You can only add {{Reflist}}.
See also
List related or similar articles by using asterisks.
External links
Add links that link to the same page on Fandom wikis or outside Fandom. The links must be listed with asterisks. (ex. [[w:c:papermario:Fire Flower|Fire Flower on Paper Mario Wiki.]])
