Mario Raceway is a track that first appears in Mario Kart 64, as the fourth and final track of the Flower Cup. It is similar to the other raceways of the game. It has many Piranha Plants and green grass. The player can also travel through a green pipe and a sand field. It is a short course with many shortcuts. It is commonly used for time trials, and the best time for this track can be accessed by pressing R on the title screen. Times under 1"30 cause the time to flash. It is one of three "Raceway" tracks in Mario Kart 64, the other two being Luigi Raceway and Royal Raceway, and they share the same theme.
This track returns in Mario Kart Wii as N64 Mario Raceway. Its Time Trial has a regular Staff Ghost named Nin*Ichiro, who uses Baby Mario on a bike, Bit Bike, and their time is 2:14.779. The unlockable Expert Staff Ghost is also Nin*Yuuki, who uses Baby Mario on a kart instead, the Mini Beast, and their time is 1:59.053.
