Mario Land (マリオランド[1] Mario Rando?, Mario Land) is a land ruled by Mario. It consists of six areas, Tree Zone, Space Zone, Macro Zone, Pumpkin Zone, Mario Zone and Turtle Zone. Mario Land made its appearance in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.

Hence the name, Mario rules Mario Land. Mario Land consists of six primary areas:
- Tree Zone is an area located southwest of the map. Big Bird guarded this zone after Wario's conquered Mario Land.
- Space Zone is an area located north of the map. It takes place inside a tree. It takes place outer space. Tatanga guarded this zone after Wario's conquered Mario Land.
- Macro Zone is an area located next to the Hippo. It takes place in a small house. Sewer Rat guarded this zone after Wario's conquered Mario Land.
- Pumpkin Zone is an area located northwest of the map. It takes place inside a pumpkin. Witch guarded this zone after Wario's conquered Mario Land.
- Mario Zone is an area located west of the map. It takes place inside a mechanical figure that strongly resembles Mario. Three Little Pigs guarded this zone after Wario's conquered Mario Land.
- Turtle Zone is an area located southeast of the map. It takes place inside a giant turtle. Pako guarded this zone after Wario's conquered Mario Land.
History[]
While Mario was in Sarasaland, Wario invaded Mario Land and conquered it. Wario brainwashed Mario Land's citizens under his magic spell. Wario took over Mario's castle and scattered six coins in the six areas.[2]
After Mario defeated Tatanga, saved Sarasaland and rescued Princess Daisy. He learned Wario conquered his land. Mario went to six areas and collected the coins. Mario went to his stolen castle and used the six coins to unlock the castle. Mario confronted Wario and defeated him. Wario surrendered and plotted to conquer Kitchen Island. Mario reconquered his land and his castle.
