Mario Classic 2-2 is a location in Mario Hoops 3-on-3.

Description[]

Mario Classic 2-2 has some similarities to Bloocheep Sea in that it is a course that takes place underwater. While Bloocheep Sea does feature 8-bit sprite depictions of Cheep Cheeps and Bloopers, specifically their sprites from Super Mario Bros., the entire environment of Mario Classic 2-2 is intended to be based on World 2-2 from Super Mario Bros.. Unlike Bloocheep Sea, the characters do not move at a slower speed from being underwater, and the 8-bit Bloopers on the court only move if a character jumps into them.

The course always has a total of eleven ? Panels on the ground, three of which are evenly spaced out on the top and bottom areas, three are clustered in the middle area, and another on each side of the court. Like the other Coin Hunter courses, Mario Classic 2-2 features two sets of Warp Pipes, one of which is on the upper area and leads to the opposite pipe on the lower area, while the Warp Pipe on the right takes a character to the one on the left area.

In Mario Hoops 3-on-3[]

Mario Classic 2-2 and Strange Forest are both unlockable courses of the multiplayer Coin Hunter mode. Both courses can be unlocked if the player wins five consecutive games of Coin Hunter. In Mario Classic 2-2, whoever obtains the most coins within the time limit of three minutes and twenty seconds is the winner.
